The signature annual fundraiser will celebrate the resilience of individuals and families living with ALS while raising critical funds to provide life-changing programs and services throughout Nevada.

Set beneath the Las Vegas skyline, guests will enjoy gourmet culinary creations from some of Southern Nevada’s top chefs, premium beverages, live entertainment, inspiring stories, silent and live auctions, and opportunities to support local families facing one of the world’s most devastating diseases.

Each year, ALS of Nevada provides vital services at no cost to individuals and families living with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The nonprofit offers respite care, support groups, medical equipment loans, transportation assistance and access to multidisciplinary care, helping ease the financial and emotional burden of the disease.

In 2025 alone, ALS of Nevada served more than 185 people living with ALS, provided 2,437 hours of respite care, coordinated 230 multidisciplinary clinic visits, facilitated 1,689 miles of transportation assistance, and welcomed 68 newly diagnosed patients and their families into its programs.

“Food is Art is more than an evening of incredible food—it’s a celebration of hope, compassion and community,” said Dawn Newburg, Executive Director of ALS of Nevada. “Every ticket purchased, every sponsorship and every donation helps ensure Nevada families living with ALS receive the support, resources and care they need throughout their journey.”

The evening will also recognize individuals whose dedication has made a lasting impact in the ALS community, including:

  • Tatum Manley – Future of ALS Advocacy Award
  • Alli Porrello – Caregiver of Courage Award
  • Cole Curtis – Generations of Hope Award

ALS affects the nerve cells responsible for voluntary muscle movement, gradually impacting a person’s ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. More than 5,000 Americans are diagnosed each year, and there is currently no cure. Veterans are approximately twice as likely to develop ALS as the general population.

The event also offers meaningful sponsorship opportunities for businesses and community leaders wishing to demonstrate their commitment to supporting Nevada families affected by ALS. Sponsorship levels range from $2,500 to $15,000, with individual tickets available for $350, couples tickets for $500, and group tickets of 10 for $3,000. Sponsorship commitments for inclusion in the printed event program are due by Sept. 25, 2026.

For tickets, sponsorship information or donations, visit www.alsofnevada.org or contact Dawn Newburg at Dawn@alsofnevada.org or 702-790-1150.
