Down, Not Out: How L.A. Rams Are Planning Their Redemption

Posted

The Los Angeles Rams have been playing back-and-forth against their losing streak, which has fans questioning the current state of the team and its players. Their 18-16 loss on Sunday to the Arizona Cardinals officially marks a second consecutive loss at SoFi Stadium following last week’s overtime Monday Night Football loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Though they’ve fallen short 2-4, Sean McVay’s team isn’t out of the running just yet. The Rams are looking at a lineup of games that L.A. fans would agree they can take on without a problem.

The Las Vegas Raiders, L.A. Chargers, Washington Commanders and the Arizona Cardinals are all scheduled to take on the Rams- followed by a ‘bye week’ midseason, reset.

It may seem as if the Rams have lost hope after their defeat by Arizona, however, we have seen plenty of times how McVay has rewritten this story and made a come back from their slump. The team seems to be on the right track, making their way to playoffs in terms of yardage but must start to represent it on the scoreboard.

It’s Not Over Yet

Looking at the future lineup of games, the team still has a total of 11 matches before they really start defining their season. Their last three losses have been decided by one score, still making this a highly competitive team.

With improvements on their plays, the Rams can look to turn their losing streak into a winning one.

The Rams can still, technically, make the postseason. Though their current overall standing is at 14th place, they don’t fall short of the eighth-place team, the Seattle Seahawks, who have one less loss than them.

If the Rams win their next two games against the Raiders and Chargers who have lost three and six in a row, a 4-4 record could put L.A. in place of a wildcard position by the midseason.

The Rams and McVay can still turn this season around, breathing new life into their plays and sportsmanship for the remainder of the season.
