PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) has arrested a man who allegedly set several fires in a field on Sunday afternoon.

According to PCSO, deputies were first sent to the area of 31st Street and North Pueblo Boulevard following several 911 calls about a man setting multiple fires in a field near some apartment buildings. PCSO says when deputies arrived, they saw several fires that were moving towards the buildings.

Pueblo City Fire responded and were able to put the fires out, PCSO says. Witnesses then told deputies they saw a man dressed in all black setting the fires.

PCSO says they were able to identify the man as 36-year-old Kyle Holman. They also obtained cell phone footage from a witness, which also identified Holman as the suspect. Deputies also found several lighters on Holman when they detained him, according to officials.

Holman was arrested for fourth-degree arson and booked into the Pueblo County Jail.
